Primary Areas of Practice:
Carrie has been a litigation attorney for over ten years. Her practice has focused on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases involving medical malpractice, nursing homes and commercial trucking operations. She is experienced in bad faith litigation, insurance law and general civil litigation. Carrie was a partner in one of the largest insurance defense firms in Georgia prior to joining WZND. She has written numerous legal publications and has been a featured author on law.com. Carrie is currently on the Editorial Board of the national publication “Medical Malpractice Law & Strategy” and publishes several articles a year. She has tried several jury trials and argued extensively in Georgia’s state and federal courts.

Professional Memberships and Activities:
Carrie has received an “AV” rating by her peers, which is the highest rating an attorney can receive from fellow attorneys and judges. She has been a featured speaker on the topic of bad faith to insurance companies and at legal education seminars. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and the Defense Research Institute. Carrie has been admitted to practice in all Georgia Courts, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle District of Georgia.

Carrie and her husband Jim live in Sandy Springs with their two sons, Ryan and Patrick. In her free time she enjoys spending time on her family’s boat, running and playing tennis.
